Sweet Monster - Kids Craft Card for Father’s Day

Father's Day is almost here, and I have a delightful crafting activity to show some love to the daddies in your life!
The daddies in my family are known for having a sweet tooth — the Cookie Monster kind! They go yum-yum for all things sweet, especially chocolate chip oatmeal cookies. To honor that irresistible craving, I put together a little monster card that can "devour" the treat of their choice. Kids can color, decorate, and cut it out to present as a gift.
Let the kids go wild making their monster totally unique! They can color it, add glitter or fluffy details, and give it texture with crumpled tissue paper, a button nose, or googly eyes. The more personality, the better! 🎨
You can make it a card with a treat tucked inside or simply stick it over a chocolate bar or a bag of sweets. Either way, it's a memorable gift made by the little ones — and that's the best kind. 🍪

Crafting Activity for Kids — Sweet Monster, a Gift for Dad!
This activity may require an adult's assistance depending on your child's age.
Materials Needed
Cardstock paper
Printer
Colouring pens or crayons
Scissors (X-Acto knife optional)
Glue
Decorative extras: glitter, fuzzy pipe cleaners, tissue paper, buttons, cotton — get creative with what you have at home!
Small hole-puncher
String, ribbon, or double-sided tape
A sweet treat for your monster
If you have a cutting machine, print the printable layer first and then run the cut/perforation layer through your cutter.
Steps to Create Your Sweet Monster
Print the worksheet on cardstock paper.
Cut to shape following the perforation line.
Colour and decorate your monster — make it as wild and unique as you like!
Fold the monster in half to create a card and add a sweet message inside.
Tuck in a treat for your monster to "devour."
Open a small hole at the top and tie the card closed with a string or ribbon, or secure it with double-sided tape.
